Are you doing something small to make your community, environment or future better?

We want to hear from you. It takes about 10 minutes on a phone.

Before you start: nothing is published automatically. An editor reads every story, may contact you with questions, and checks what we can before publishing. You choose how your name appears: full name, first name only, or anonymous. If numbers like waste diverted or trees planted have not been measured, just say "unknown". We never want you to guess.

What we'll ask

  1. What are you doing?
  2. When did you start?
  3. What problem were you trying to solve?
  4. Why did you start?
  5. How did you begin?
  6. Who helped you?
  7. What has happened since?
  8. What have you learned?
  9. What would you tell someone who wants to try this?

We also ask where you are (country, region and town, never your exact address), any impact you have measured, and photos, videos or links if you have them. Only send photos you took or have permission to share.

  3. We check facts and may ask for evidence or a short interview
  4. Approved and published with an evidence label
